Newman released from hospital after Daytona crash
Ryan Newman left a Daytona Beach hospital on Wednesday two days after crashing on the final lap of the Daytona 500. Roush Fenway Racing posted a photo of him smiling with his two daughters as he walked, saying he is fully alert and improving. The Indiana native, 42, remains to be officially declared fit for Las Vegas, while teammate and rival drivers process the crash and its aftermath.
