Habitat adds new families in redevelopment area

Alicia Campbell, a single mother of four and hospital worker, joins Daniele and Mike Brooks-Drew, a married couple with a 7 year old, both frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Campbell and the Brooks-Drew family became homeowners last week at dedication ceremonies, part of the program's 47 homes built in the area since 1989. Campbell previously lived in public housing in Havelock after moving from New Jersey in 2007.
