Cherry Point EPA may add base to national priorities list

Children in nontraditional homes study shows widespread variation

Blended families rise as traditional homes shrink

A Census Bureau analysis finds 33 million U S children live in nuclear households with both natural parents and full siblings, while over 15 million are in one parent homes and nearly 10 million in blended families. Extended families include uncles cousins and grandparents. The 33.4 million nuclear youngsters represent about 50.8 percent of all youths under 18.
