Pamlico teacher charged with sex acts involving student
Kara Ann Walton, 33, a former Pamlico County High School teacher and coach, surrendered August 23 on felony counts of sex act with a student and indecent liberties with a student. The offenses are alleged to have occurred March 24 through June 11. Walton no longer works for Pamlico County Schools. next court date September 6.
