Ballot name order questioned in North Carolina Senate race
Voters in a state senate primary largely picked top names on the ballot amid unfamiliar candidates, a third place candidate alleges. Charlie A. Sutherland finished 1,300 votes behind Virginia Foxx and Don W. East, prompting a lawsuit seeking ballot name rotation and a new primary. The action also names Edward High of the State Board of Elections as a defendant.
