The Quick family launches the Dylan Quick Foundation to help families facing pediatric cancer. The first fundraiser is scheduled for September 6 and 7. Dylan, diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma at 14, endured surgeries and chemotherapy, beat the disease, and died January 23, 2019 after a relapse and failed therapies. His family describes his five-year battle as excruciating and notes the financial and travel burdens they carried, including trips to Boston for care.
