Joe Meadows champions cleanup on Havelock streets
Joe Meadows, a former U S Forest Service civil engineer and Eagle Scout, walks daily in Havelock collecting trash along Highway 70 and nearby streets. He records bags filled, fights litter through Clean Sweep, and inspires neighbors to recycle, adopt highway programs, and support his church and Troop 272. He has found cash, tools, wildlife, and even a reticulated python during his rounds.
