Artist pledges canvases for cystic fibrosis telethon
New Bern artist Willie Taglieri plans a 12 hour CF telethon at WCTI TV on August 12 painting a 24 by 36 inch Beaufort waterfront scene. He will also raffle a montage of area landmarks at Wal Mart with $1 tickets Aug 11 and 12, part of an 18 year fund raising effort that has raised about $25,000.
