Eighteen bodies removed from New Jersey nursing home
Eighteen bodies were removed from Andover Rehabilitation and Subacute I and II after weekend complaints to the Sussex County sheriff and township police. Hazmat teams found 13 bodies in a holding area. five were found in the first holding area. At Newton Medical Center the bodies were taken. 33 residents had died from the coronavirus across both facilities, with 76 residents and 41 staff testing positive. The Omudsman warns of low staffing and PPE shortages statewide.
