Playground design unveiled for Kidsville 2.0 in New Bern
The New Bern Parks and Recreation Department revealed Kidsville 2.0 on Pinetree Drive beside West New Bern Recreation Center. The 25 year old wood playground was torn down in February for safety. Children helped shape the new design, which uses sustainable materials and features a castle center, net bridge, tunnels, ladders, slides, a pirate ship entrance, fossil dig sandbox and swingset. Foster Hughes emphasizes prioritizing the kids' vision.
