Tax seminar to address depreciation after 1981 tax code
Sun Coast chapter of the Florida Accountants Association of Sarasota County sponsors a tax seminar on October 3 at the Holiday Inn Longboat Key. District approves millage rates for school taxes and sinking fund
The school board sets a total millage of 5 729 with 5 640 for district taxes and .089 for the sinking fund. The outlay millage will be rolled back next week to create a $500 590 contingency fund for rainy days as a capital outlay postponement continues.
