Venice hires外city executive officer for fire department
Venice has named Roger Shankle from Melbourne Florida as executive officer of the Venice Fire Department. Chief James Culbert cites Shankle's 16 years with Melbourne and prior Maryland firefighting and fire prevention study at the University of Maryland as key qualifications. The decision was made jointly with City Personnel Director Lucille Doeble and City Manager Dale Rieth and met with no ill will from local firefighters.
