North Port Proclaims Buddy Poppy Days and Shriners Week
Mayor Margaret Gentle designated November 4 5 and 6 as Buddy Poppy Days in North Port backing VFW Post 8203 and declared the week of October 31 Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital Week. Sahib Temple Sarasota director Jim Robb said a Shriners paper drive will take place November 4 5 and 6.
