The Englewood Area Republican Club will hold its first fall meeting at Lemon Bay High School on Oct 27 at 8 p.m. in room 907. Candidates for the Englewood Water District Board will be introduced and the public is invited. A plant bake and white elephant sale follows on Oct 31 at the Sarasota Garden Club 1131 Blvd. of the Arts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited.
