Young Venice candidate enters city council race

Ed Taylor 25, Venice businessman and funeral director, filed to run for the two year council seat vacated by Eugene Caffrey who will seek the mayoralty. Taylor, a Nokomis native, Venice High and Gupton Jones alumnus, is a partner at Ewing Funeral Home and active with Sertoma Club Big Brothers Big Sisters and South County YMCA board.
