Venice Council Sets December Start for Effluent Sprayer
Venice aims to begin construction of an effluent spray system at the wastewater plant by December 31 1982 with an extra 39000 approved for design and engineering. The project faces delays from Florida DEP EPA and Sarasota County, as the city seeks to meet higher Wilson Grizzle standards and secure funds. Council approved the funding 6 1 despite Ed Taylor’s opposition who warns the site could hinder relocation efforts.
