Venice Considers Coastal Setback Change Hearing Set
Venice Planning Commission schedules a Dec. 1 public hearing on redefining the coastal setback line to align with state standards while keeping a 150 foot city line where stricter. The proposal, prepared by City Planner Chuck Place, would bar hard surface structures inside the setback but allow stairs docks and similar features.
