A new Arby’s on the U S 41 Bypass teams with the South County Family YMCA to raise memberships through Nov. 22. Arby’s donates five cents per sandwich sold and coupons offer 50 percent off memberships during the promotion period. The Y survived a near closure after more than 425000 in gifts.
Clown College will graduate its class of 80 before a live audience on Saturday night. About 48 men and 10 women from across the country have spent eight weeks learning mime, magic, stiltwalking, costume and juggling as Ringling Bros. Felds scout for touring clowns. The three hour ceremony will be attended by parents and Feld production managers, with performers auditioning for spots in the circus units and Circus World in Florida.
