Venice Faces State Employment Office Closures
The Venice Florida State Employment Office may close as part of Reagan era budget cuts hitting 26 offices statewide. Venice manager Tom Desio notes three local jobs could be cut and residents may need to use the Sarasota office for assistance, amid a projected 4.4 million in lost annual funding.
