Venice Faces 38 Percent Water Sewer Rate Hike by 1982
Venice prepares a city council approved plan to raise water and sewer charges about 38 percent by Oct 1 1981 to fund a 15 million bond funded utility renovation. The ordinance imposes higher per unit charges and a new 25 percent surcharge on unincorporated users with annual rate reviews through 1985.
