County seeks state help to save two Casey Key beach parcels
County environmental agents urge the state to fund Save Our Coast purchases on two Casey Key parcels. The 11 acre north Casey Key site and 1.5 acre lot between Nokomis beaches would join existing county land, expanding public shoreline. Officials say state aid is needed to prevent development while the county promises to maintain the sites.
