Venice Police help at risk youths through outreach and meetings
Sgt. Mike Komisarz recalls a Venice Police Department effort where juveniles with minor offenses and their parents were invited to a social gathering to discuss obligations. The case helped detectives arrest older youths for vehicle theft and burglary while steering younger teens away from crime and toward support.
