Casey Key trespass complaint and local thefts reported
A Casey Key photographer reported trespass after two white males walked the beach area. The deputy identified them as Willis Day and Charles Kirby Jr who claimed to be beach walkers. The report notes ongoing thefts at local construction sites including King-built Homes in Venice Gardens and Jacaranda with pumps toilets and doorknobs stolen. A Publix check attempt failed, a shirt theft noted, and a DWI arrest for Betty Tompkins with BAC .16. Other charges include Margaret Fields for striking a disabled vehicle and several arrest records in Venice.
