Fishermen flock to jetty in clear morning currents
Ed Valentine struggled with bait as fishermen gathered in swarms at the jetty. The water looked clear but biting was slow with no minnows evident. Si Jacoboson of Harbor Isles, North Port, landed a nice flounder using live shrimp, accompanied by his son Brad of Saudia Arabia, while more people than usual crowded the jetty.
