Venice utility project faces minor delays in expansion
Project manager DO.J. Hewkins from Taddie Underground says the expansion is fairly well on schedule despite dozens of minor irritants. City Manager Dale Rieth notes contractor reluctance to follow specifications and promises a detailed council report if problems persist as the work toward a July 1983 completion continues.
