Venice rejects gulfront airtel plan on airport land
Venice City Council flatly rejected Bill Korp’s proposal to build a 150 unit airtel motel on Gulf of Mexico beachfront near the airport. Council cites Parks and Recreation Board guidance and loss of undeveloped gulffront land, voting to stop the project while keeping open potential future airport site use.
