Southeast pursues exchange offer for Florida National Banks
Southeast Banking Corp filed a Registration Statement with the SEC and an application with the Federal Reserve to pursue an exchange offer for all Florida National Banks of Florida, Inc. shares. Shareholders would receive 26 in cash plus a fraction of Southeast stock valued at 10 divided by Southeast’s 30 day average price, not less than .50 nor more than .70 per share. The offer will begin after SEC declares the registration effective and FED approval is obtained.
