Berlin Orientation Tour Observed by U S Army in Europe
Brian J Shepard, son of Thelma Gregory of Venice, entered East Berlin to observe conditions on the communist side as part of a three day orientation for U S Army personnel in Europe. The program aims to show differences between a free and controlled society under Potsdam. Floyd V Kimberly, son of Anna Smith of Venice, promoted to colonel in the U S Air Force and serves as an instructor at the University of Florida.
