Vietnamese boat people settle in Englewood
Four Vietnam refugees, the Mac family, arrive in Englewood after fleeing Vietnam and Malaysia. The Christ Lutheran Church and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service sponsor their move to a furnished home at Holiday Mobile Estates. They study English, learn local costs, and seek employment with church support and donated goods guiding their path to independence.
