Sarasota County voters favor tough growth controls survey shows
A survey of 6500 of 20000 mailed questionnaires finds nine of ten voters want growth patterns limited and 99 percent back stricter water pollution rules for Sarasota Bay while 76 percent of north county residents report higher satisfaction than 69 percent in the south.
