Marine Pvt. Rick A. Rossen son of Ruth E. Rossen of Osprey finished an 11 week recruit training cycle at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island S C. He learned battlefield survival daily routine standards physical conditioning first aid rifle marksmanship and close order drill. He joined the Marine Corps in January 1982.
