Venice Considers Municipal Code Enforcement Board
Venice City Council authorized the mayor to recruit six citizens for a new Municipal Code Enforcement Board to enforce technical codes including building and zoning. The board may impose fines up to 500 dollars and will hear cases on occupational licenses fire and related codes. Terms vary by year with three member quorum and no compensation.
