Englewood Little Prince and Princess Pageant Planned
The Young Women's Club of Englewood sponsors the event as part of Pioneer Days. On Sept 5 at 3 p.m. at Lemon Bay High School gymnatorium, 40 contestants aged three to five from Englewood Elementary District compete in two stage appearances with a partner and receive ribbons. Debra Kinkade and Rosanne Ray oversee the pageant with 20 boys and 20 girls. entry is $5 per child with a family rate of $3.50 for multiple siblings. August 7 deadline. The crowned Prince and Princess will ride in the Labor Day Pioneer Days Parade aboard a horse drawn wagon.

Kay Lanius of Venice Hospital becomes President of the Florida Association of Directors of Hospital Volunteer Services, a statewide body with members from 88 hospitals. She assumed the post early after a resignation, and Venice Hospital will host the FADHVS summer board meeting July 30 to August 1.

Brazil's Handicapped Programs Praised By Rotary Speaker
