War bride to Venice Hospital star earns July Employee of the Month
Winifred Prestiano recalls wartime London bombing and meeting Jim Prestiano after an air raid. The couple later sailed aboard the Queen Elizabeth troop ship to America. She rose from kitchen to nurse's aide and admitting clerk in Derby and Venice Hospital, with 15 years in hospitals and 1 year managing a doctor’s office.
