SOBA sues over Oaks rezoning before Judge Carr
Save Our Bays Association filed suit in U S District Court in Tampa against Sarasota County Commission seeking reversal of the Oaks rezoning to permit 240 single family units only with no commercial use. The group alleges lack of required public hearing and civil rights violations while noting the June 16 referendum on Oaks purchase does not affect the case.
