Taddie blamed for Venice utility expansion delays

Rate Study Underway for Venice Utilities Capacity Fees

Ed Redington, engineering consultant for the City of Venice, conducts a utility plant capacity rate study through mid August and will report to the Venice City Council. He calculates income from 300 water and 800 sewer plant capacity charges for new homeowners and first time utility connections. The 1979 rates prompted the current levels. findings will set new rates and finalize the utility budget.
