Sewer expansion doubles capacity east of Intracoastal Waterway
A 150000 project to replace Lift Station 7 with a new facility will double sewage capacity for 4500 residents east of the Intracoastal Waterway. Woodruff & Sons Construction of Bradenton began May 1 and aims to finish Friday. The old station will be dismantled and salvaged after completion. Crews uncovered a 6 inch concrete asbestos pipe beneath the site and moved the project two feet.
