Venice Fireworks Display Set for July Fourth at Fishing Pier

Venice hosts the annual fireworks show at the fishing pier sponsored by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce with Carla Whiteaker leading planning. Venice Jaycees handle firing supervision, watermelons sold by the Jaycees, and entertainment from the Ding-a-lings at Lake Village Mobile Home Park. The event runs 8 30 to 9 p m with parking urged before darkness. funds lag about 1400 dollars short of costs with 1785 collected so far.
