Winds knock out power in Venice area, FP&L technicians fix lines
High winds cut electricity to three Venice zones, east of I 75, Venice Gardens, and Park Boulevard. FP&L crews trimmed a downed tree on Venice Farms Road and rerouted power while technicians isolated faults using a leap frog method. Traffic control aided by Venice Police remained in effect until power was restored.
