MJC Foundation director outlines funding goals
Dr. Marlene Woodson, newly named director for institutional advancement at Manatee Junior College, announced a $50,000 anonymous donation and urged expanding private funding. She noted state funding cuts and a need to replace merit scholarships cut by new legislation, with groundbreaking for the Venice campus planned for April and completion in fall 1984.
