Cold weather shapes fishing notes from Venice coast
The Venice area reports a chilly start to 1981 with anglers near Nokomis and the North Jetty noting slow bites and small shrimp amid cold winds. Tim Wooster’s party aboard Blue Seas caught several species including an 18-inch blacktip shark, while others like Bob Torsey and Frank Johnson reported redfish and bonitas.
