How to apply for property tax exemptions in 1981
Florida property owners may file for homestead, five year residency, school, disability and widowhood exemptions. Apply or renew by March 2, 1981. new applications in person, renewals by mail. Certain exemptions require proof of residency, death certificates, VA letters, or five year residence, and some exemptions depend on income and disability status. Agricultural classification and tangible personal property returns must also be filed by March 2 or April 1 respectively.
