Foreign car boom drives local auto parts expansion
South Venice Auto Parts owner Michael Gelormino says foreign car sales are pushing demand for foreign parts. He and partner Clifford Paulson plan expanded inventory and 24 hour service to capture the after market, with 30 percent of U S parts now for foreign makes and a recent eight thousand dollar foreign parts order plus a forthcoming seven thousand.

Publix to Bring Famed Clydesdales to Venice Tour
Publix Markets sponsors tours of the Budweiser Clydesdales at Jacaranda Plaza and Venice Shopping Center in Venice. The eight horse hitch will pull the Budweiser wagon on a route from 11 a.m. to 1 30 p.m. with a stop at the Venice center before returning to Sarasota.
