Insurance rates fall for Venice city departments
The City of Venice reported last week that overall insurance rates decreased 88 percent from the previous year due to enhanced safety measures and fewer accidents. Liability insurance dropped 38 percent and workers compensation declined 3.8 percent. figures were shared at the semi annual safety meeting. The next safety meeting for department heads and supervisors is planned for June.
