A policeman opened the door on the Drivers Side ordered a move Over and took Over behind the steering wheel. Tires screeching Horn blowing running All red lights and missing other vehicles by inches while the blood of the screaming youngster soaked a Large Towel the officer delivered the Trio to the emergency room. The wound turned out to be a Large Gash across the Eyebrow that required several stitches. And after things quieted Down a bit it was found that the firecracker did not blow up in Benny a face but close by at the precise moment the youngster ran into a can being thrown away by his Cousin. A past president of the Lions club he has also received the elks clubs a Elk of the year award. West was a Little league Umpire for three years and an Active member of the Moose club. But even with All these things going. West says a Santa is still my first this becomes apparent As he truly enjoys reminiscing about his experiences As Santa. A you have to love it a he remarked. West remembered an incident a few years Back when a migrant farm worker saw him in red suit and asked if it would be possible for him to come Home and be Santa to the workers children. However Dewey Dye jr., an attorney representing Manasota lands said a i am authorized to offer the property to the county on these terms would include Selling the land to the county for $760,000 with no interest charges. One fourth of the Money would be payable when a contract is signed and the remainder payable in three equal instalments at one year intervals. De Maroney county administrator said the key to the county a obtaining this land is in receiving some $800,000 in Matching funds from the state for the recent Purchase at the North jetty.
