Bent's Chevron Venice institution hits 23 years in service
The Bent family runs Bent's Chevron at 610 Tamiami Trail in Venice. Pres Bent, 70, says the station is the area's oldest dealer, opened in 1956 with two competitors nearby and now faces tighter margins and fluctuating gas allocations. Roger Bent considers the business lively with regular customers and growth possible.
