Druggist's Case Set for Trial in Venice Pharmacy Scandal

The trial of Frashier Gaines Hinton the Venice pharmacist accused of illegally dispensing drugs from J and H Drugs is scheduled to begin Monday. Prosecutors expect Tammy Fair a key prosecution witness to testify while Hinton faces ten counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of forging labels. The DPR revoked his license after an audit found more than 14000 drug units missing from inventory including Valium Quaalude and Seconal.
