Watcher in the Woods a wholesome family horror
A nostalgic review praises Disney s Watcher in the Woods as a non violent horror for all ages. Bette Davis stars as a strang e mother in England while a family encounters hauntings, with a serene woodland setting and a surprising ending. The piece contrasts it with contemporary gore heavy films and argues for quality over special effects. The film emphasizes mood over blood and fear crafted through atmosphere and mystery.
