Three South County traffic deaths in two weeks raise toll
In Sarasota County three traffic fatalities over the past two weeks include a teenage pedestrian. Jon R. Toth, 59, died at Venice Hospital after a two vehicle crash near the Florida Highway Patrol station. An Omaha boy was killed near the Dona Bay bridge and two Illinois youths were injured in a separate crash involving a Worth, Illinois couple. 245 accidents have been reported in August as school returns approach.
