Lemon Bay Boaters Get New Marina Space This Fall
Sarasota County approves a three phase upgrade at Manasota Marine Park to add dock space and revamp the boat ramp near Manasota Beach. The project includes lagoon dredging and improved navigation with a total of about 8 acres of park land. Contracts awarded total about 56 000 dollars with Degelman and Son and R O Construction handling dredging and dockage respectively.

Lagoon Dock Project Plans Reveal 640 Feet of Walkway
Conn outlines phase one changes including ramp slope and resurfacing followed by dredging a channel to the waterway. The lagoon will be dredged to restore depth as five 46 foot boardwalks link a new dock to parking, enabling easy access to park facilities.
